I haven't written anything in forever. I'm happy This week is very stressful what with midterms to take and stuff to gather for scholarships to turn in. I will probably fail parts of my piano jury. We're having Megan's birthday party tomorrow...

Today in second grade I spent twenty minutes getting a tiny pencil out of an electric pencil sharpener. Then I spent some more time sharpening pencils for the kids. It was supposed to be my last day in second grade, but she wants us to come back next week, too. That's great because I didn't want my last day of second grade to be spent with a pencil sharpener and not the kids. (who absolutely rock)
That is all.

The mall opened at 1am, and Mikey, Rohde, and I decided at 11 or so we wanted to go experience this extravaganza. So we drank a LOT of coffee and played Scrabble. We each got to use 3 "fake" words during the game....what we came up with were: vagine, dinamite, hogan, foane, thor, joynt, eieio, maaalo, and maaalox....The mall was definitely an experience, and there was supposedly free coffee but we couldn't find any.
So it's 3:30am and I've had so much coffee I'm not nearly tired...

Sooo...an addition to my list earlier..
-Cindy breaking a wine glass then continuing to tell everyone multiple times that she always breaks wine glasses -Everyone thinking that Chris and Munson were going to announce their engagement (which won't ever happen) -My dad asking me if I want a Parrot Bay malt beverage, and then my mom getting one out of the fridge, opening it, getting a glass of ice, pouring it into the glass then setting it down in front of me... -Memphis going missing then Angel, from the back door, meowing alarmedly and us finding Memphis outside the door.
I've been home for about 36 hours and I'm already bored.... : /

So my family decided to have Thanksgiving today, on Sunday, with my parents friends as a reunion dinner for when my parents announced thier engagement.... The day so far has been hilarious...
1. Memphis getting on the counter and putting her tail in the chocolate fountain. 2. My mom leaving the digital meat thermometer in the oven for about 5 minutes and then looking in the oven to see a melted thermometer. 3. About 2 minutes later, me stirring the cheese sauce with a whisk that has an egg (complete w/ eyes and feet) as a handle and the handle falling off into the sauce. 4. My dad barely being able to cut the turkey because of its massive size. 5. 6 middle aged people all liquored up.
And we have yet to begin eating... possibly more later.

I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions: no more, no less.
Ask me anything you want [though I reserve the right to not answer, or to answer evasively].
Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this, allowing your friends [including me] to ask you anything.

He's a wounded animal He lives in a matchbox He's a wounded animal And he's been coming around here He's a dying breed He's a dying breed His daughter is twenty years of snow falling She's twenty years of strangers looking into each other's eyes She's twenty years of clean She never truly hated anyone or anything She's a dying breed She's a dying breed She says I'd prefer the moss I'd prefer the mouth A baby of the swamps A baby of the south I'm twenty years of clean And I never truly hated anyone or anything Twenty years of clean Twenty years of clean But I got to get me out of here This place is full of dirty old men And the navigators with their mappy maps And moldy heads and pissing on sugarcubes But I got to get me out of here This place is full of dirty old men And the navigators with their mappy maps And moldy heads and pissing on sugarcubes While you stare at your boots And the words float out like holograms And the words float out like holograms And the words float out like holograms They say, feel the waltz, feel the waltz Come on, baby, baby, now feel the waltz Feel the waltz, feel the waltz Come on, baby, baby, now feel the waltz

GET ME OUT OF HERE! The days go by fast, the weeks go by fast - I may just blink and it will be Friday already, and along with that, Meggie time and a million recitals and shows and concerts to do/see. Friday 7pm recital to see. Saturday 1pm and 2pm recitals to see, 7:30 pm Othello to see, Sunday 5pm concert to give plus hanging out with my mom for as long as she's in town beforehand, Bears game at 7:15 to watch, and a week from today, Monday, a 7pm recital to see. Tomorrow I have to observe for like half an hour for music ed, Thursday is a special ed quiz. I'm so busy. The time flies, but 11 or 12 days til I go home seems like a lifetime. I realized last night that this is the longest amount of time I've ever spent away from home. Ever. I miss Memphis like crazy - It's her birthday today. She's two now. I love hanging out w/ Andrew and Mike every night, playing super smash brothers, or watching south park or a movie. I love spending time with them. I'm always having fun (unless it's yesterday and the Bears are playing shitty as hell) but I need my home! I'm going insane.

I suck at getting things done... no, getting important things done. I've successfully kicked Mike's ass in super smash brothers probably 5 times in the past 24 hours, gotten 60 stars in Super Mario 64 in one sitting, created a South Park version of me....but haven't done any homework....hating school..............................................................................blah blah blah...

It's been forever.... I had an amazing weekend. Friday night was The Model Home Crew's first party outing together. Me as a hot nerd, Meg-ahnn as a princess, Andrew as a *bimbo skank*, and Mike .... Mike as a playboy bunny, which was the most hysterical thing in the world. Saturday was me and Andrew being lazy all day. Then Meg-ahnn and Brennan came over and we had a "Pants on" dance party. Then played Mario Party and Team Girl, although we looked better, lost miserably. Then Meg-ahnn said we all looked like our characters which made me stop being friends with her because I don't think I look like a green dinosaur with a big nose. I was loopy and kept asking if anyone wanted to do coke... Sunday Bears won, more like kicked ass, which is all that is important. In other news I'm so done with school. I have no more motivation.
Maybe I'll go into more details of the rest of my life later, but I have to go to class now...
"Hey, Remember that time when my favorite colors were pink and green?"

It looks as if Brennan may be lucky fall roommate for next year. The Model Home will kick ass.
And there is finally no one in my room so I can go to sleep for once.
I'm seeing Blue Man Group in November.
I thought my body was exploding earlier.
Guys side of the floor is going crazy cuz Cards won.
It was worse on Monday when the Bears won - it was an amazing celebration.
P.S. I hate the dorms.
And Claire, Megan and I kept saying that if only you wouldn't have to live in the dorms next year, you would totally be living with us in our apartment.

BEARS ARE SIX AND ZERO!
I also accidentally punched Andrew in the face because we were having a fist fight as my way of celebrating, and instead of hitting his arm I got his face.... oops. I had drank waay too much Corona, and didn't know what was going on for half an hour during the game. Mike was scary when he thought they were gonna lose. Then after I made him sit in the bean bag they started winning... good luck charms.
Official roster for the 2007-2008 Model Home Crew for 609 Hester #10 is me, Megan, Andrew, Mike for a semester, and someone else we need to find for first semester... anyone know someone who needs a place to live Fall semester next year?
I need to sleep more.

ummm Mikey's toga party was incredible. IN-CRE-DI-BLE. I give Megan all credit for how amazing our togas looked, which was also incredible. We had amazing togas with no safety pins and only one knot. It was a great night.

I accidentally took a three hour afternoon nap from 5:30-8:30 so I'm totally awake right now...
Tuesday night Megan and I went on another of our adventures. We went to see Rohde in The Crucible and had a lot of fun. Got a little bit lost on the way there, because I turned the wrong way, but we got there ok in the end. The front of house manager called names and since Mikey was on the list he called him...but said Mickey La-ird, which was funny. After the show we went back to Rohde's house and played the cello...and thought Rohde was gonna play it like a violin...but he was just letting out the stand... Then it was Steak n Shake time! The most delicious brownie sundae ever. Then the drive home, got back here at like 1am.
Before going to Millikin Tuesday I had other mini adventures. I went to the doctor at student health services for the pain or "discomfort" as they like me to refer to it, in my chest and the "lump" in my throat. I may have an anxiety disorder, I may have acid reflux, I may have both. Both make sense, so I got some meds and have to go back next week to see if it fixes it. And before going to the doctor, my mom came to visit for a minute on her way back from Atlanta.
Monday I signed the lease for our (me, Megan, Andrew, and mystery roommate #4) apartment. 609 Hester #10! The Model Home!
I'm gonna do some more shit and go to bed. Hopefully I can sleep in my bed and not the futon tonight. It's been too hot the past few nights to sleep in my bed...

I think I only told Megan this so far, but my plan is that I'm going to student teach my elementary ed semester of my year-long student teaching...I'm gonna be so broke.... in England. And while I'm there I'm going to fall madly in love with some European man who is incredibly gorgeous. And he's gonna think I'm something special, too.

Ever have one of those days where you realize just how happy you are?
I definitely did today. It's been happening to me more and more lately. And it's totally random shit that sets it off. Today I was walking out of the CPA after the Faculty Showcase and there was a jazz ensemble playing in front of Cook I think, but I couldn't see them, but for some reason hearing that music made me realize how much I'm enjoying myself right now.
I had a good day to set the mood. Although it was too early to really enjoy playing games in Music Ed, that's what we did. Then I went to Metcalf and I just love those kids! They are so awesome and they make me want to teach little kids so much. Dictation test in Musicianship... I hope it went ok, I'm not sure. Then convocation concert that was 40 minutes long, putting my recital attendance total to 3. Walmart to pick up random crap, then lots of Grey's. Quadding with Meg-ahnn, more Grey's. Some homework, then the faculty recital. I re-realized just how much I love rag music. Then practiced piano and hung out with the guys for a little more than an hour.
I'm so tired now, so I'm gonna try and catch up on some sleep!
